Gar Baybrook, 93, of Payson has been located in Phoenix. According to Payson Police Chief Don Engler, Phoenix Police alerted Payson Police on Friday at about 6 p.m. that Baybrook had been found checking into a motel in Phoenix.
Engler said Payson Police were notified immediately because Baybrook was listed as an endangered missing person. "Friends picked him up," Engler said. "He was not overly confused."
Baybrook was last seen on Wednesday, Jan. 26 at approximately 8:30 p.m. when he left his residence at 705 S. Bootleg Alley. He was reported to be driving his 1992 Ford Escort station wagon. His family told police that he was confused and suffered from memory loss.
