Driver of van at A-1 fire not a suspect

Van and Driver seen Leaving the Area of the Wild Land Fire

Near A-1 Mountain Located

Flagstaff AZ- On Thursday, April 21 the individual who was operating a 1980’s model full size, ½ to ¾ ton pickup “off yellow” in color with a white camper shell that was seen leaving the area of the wild Land fire near A-1 Mountain, has been located.  The subject learned Deputies wanted to interview him through the local news media and came to the Sheriff’s Office in Flagstaff .  Investigators spoke with him and determined that it was his vehicle witnesses described as leaving shortly after the fire began.  Following an interview and other investigative techniques Deputies determined the van driver was not involved with the wild land fire.
