Governor Brewer has requested that the flags at all state offices and facilities be lowered to half-staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, April 9, 2011 in honor of SPC Dustin J Feldhaus who died March 29 at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire in Konar province. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 327th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Fort Campbell, Ky.
Funeral services are to be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona at 23029 N Cave Creek Road on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10:00 AM with interment to follow the service.
Governor Brewer encourages individuals, businesses, and other organizations to join in this tribute.
