From Sam Schwalm:
The independent audit of the PSWID fiscal year 2009-2010 can be viewed here: http://www.waterforpinestrawberry.com/data%20pages/BudgetDocs.htm.
Haven’t had time to go through it, but if you have some experience with financial statements, we would appreciate hearing what your thoughts are on the district’s financial strengths and weaknesses.
Mr. Danny Stevens has left as the District Manager for CH2M Hill. At this point I don’t know the name of the gentleman who has replaced him.
The water from the Milk Ranch well is very hard:
“The total hardness of the groundwater produced from the Milk Ranch well was reported at 220 mg/l. This would be considered very hard water. Groundwater produced from carbonate ( limestone & dolomite formations ) aquifer systems often exhibits very hard water in the range of 200 to 300 mg/l total hardness.”
The next regular meeting of the PSWID is Thursday, May 19 at 7:30 p.m. at the PSWID Office.
