No new structures have been reported detroyed or damaged, but fire officials are warning returning evacuees to be aware and ready to evacuate again if fire threatens their communities.
U.S. 180/191 between Alpine and Springerville was re-closed Thursday as of 2:40 p.m. and returning Nutrioso residents are being escorted on Highway 180 to their homes.
The evacuation center at Blue Ridge High School has been closed due to lack of use.
Critical fire weather conditions can be expected through Sunday. The conditions challenge containment lines and create the potential for long range spotting up to a mile.
