Friday, June 24 ~ The Rim Country Regional Chamber of Commerce will host a ribbon cutting and grand opening for "Key Ingredients" the Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit at the Payson Public Library from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibit will be featured and refreshments will be served. Reservations required. Call 928-474-4515.
Saturday, June 25 ~ Payson Farmers Market, 8 a.m. to noon behind Chili's in the Sawmill Theatre parking lot. Fresh local produce, canned, baked, and frozen gourmet foods, including hand made chocolates, tamales and Italian specialties, arts and crafts - fun, food and entertainment.
Saturday, June 25 ~ The Rim Area Gardeners host their annual Mogollon Garden Tour. Tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased at Payson or Pine Libraries, Ace Hardware, Plant Fair Nurseries, Payson Jewelers or the Rim Country Chamber of Commerce. Six gardens are featured on the tour.
Saturday, June 25 ~ The Smithsonian Traveling Exhibit: "Key Ingredients: America by Food" is open to the public at the Payson Library in Rumsey Park. The exhibit continues at the Payson Library through August 7.

Sunday, June 26 ~ The Rim Country Literacy Program presents "Hooray for Hollywood", a series of classic films, at the Payson Senior Center on Sundays. Doors open at 2 p.m. Cartoons or a short feature start the program followed by the classic film at 3 p.m. "Bringing Up Baby" is the classic film featured Sunday, June 26. Individual tickets are $10 and include popcorn and a drink. Movie candy is also available for sale. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Senior Center on Main Street, the Payson Roundup, Rim Country Literacy Program offices, Proceeds benefit RCLP programs. For information, call 928-468-7257. Series tickets are also available for $25. "High Noon" is scheduled for July 24. "An Afternoon of Comedy" featuring the films of W.C. Fields, the Three Stooges, Groucho Marx and George Burns and Gracie Allen is scheduled for August 21.
