ADOT Rim Country Construction Updates

STATE ROUTE 260 LITTLE GREEN VALLEY  

Traffic Switch Rescheduled - Friday, August 5

ADOT crews are scheduled to complete paving the eastbound lanes of the new roadway on Thursday, August 4. Truck traffic will be heavy during work hours. The increased volume of truck traffic may require brief delays to allow vehicles and paving equipment to maneuver safely through the work zone. Motorists can expect brief delays.

When the roadway surface has been striped, ADOT crews will switch east and westbound traffic onto the newly paved eastbound lanes on Friday, August 5. Once traffic has been shifted, operations will commence to apply the final layer of rubberized asphalt to the westbound lanes of the new roadway.

Message boards, temporary barricades, and signage will guide motorists through the route. Please do not follow trucks.

The speed limit within the construction zone is reduced to 45 miles per hour and a width restriction of 10 feet remains in place.
