DPS reports all lanes open on I-17 - northbound traffic was backed up nine miles

Hay truck fire causes traffic backup on I-17, all lanes now open by Black Canyon City

Friday, August 12, 8:30 p.m. - Regarding the fire on I-17  by milepost 242 north of Black Canyon City, all lanes have been open in both directions.

Motorists may experience delays in both directions as traffic was backed up nine miles from milepost 242 north to milepost 233.
