Flagstaff mother searches for child taken by biological father a year ago

NAME: Serenity Lynn Morse

DESCRIPTION:  Serenity Lynn Morse was last seen by her biological mother on 09/23/2010.  It is believed that Serenity’s father, Robert Leland Morse, 40,  left the Flagstaff area with Serenity in September of 2010, and has been living with her in the Phoenix area.  Serenity’s mother currently has sole custody of the child, and there is an active arrest warrant for Robert Leland Morse for Custodial Interference.  

In August of 2011 the mother of 2-year-old Serenity Lynn Morse reported that Serenity’s biological father, Robert Leland Morse, took Serenity from their home off of Leupp Road outside of Flagstaff, AZ nearly a year ago in September of 2010.

Since that time, the child’s mother has had no contact with Serenity and contact with Robert Leland Morse has been through e-mail only. Morse has refused to disclose his location or the location of the child.

In June, 2011, Serenity’s mother was awarded sole custody of the child.

CCSO Detectives determined Morse’s last confirmed location was at a family homeless shelter in Phoenix, AZ in early March. Earlier this month Phoenix Police Officers responded to the shelter and determined Morse was no longer residing there. Morse is believed to have family in California , Nevada , and Washington State .

There is currently an active felony warrant for Robert Leland Morse for Custodial Interference.
