Come to the Strawberry Festival in the cool pines for a weekend of fun in the mountains
Enjoy strolling among the arts, crafts and food booths Saturday, June 9, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, June 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event takes place at the Pine Strawberry Community Center off Highway 87 (the Beeline Highway).
There'll be music, pony rides, a rock-climbing wall and a kids' booth and everything from artwork to zebra-patterned pot holders.
The Strawberry Patchers Quilt Show will be at the Strawberry Cultural Hall on the Beeline Highway Friday through Sunday. Admission to the quilt show is $2.
