Children's Theatre at Payson High School Auditorium
Betty
Lou and the Country Beast-Missoula Children's Theatre will perform with 60
local children at the Payson High School Auditorium on Thursday, Aug. 17
and Friday, Aug. 18. The theatre
is located at 301 S. McLane Road.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $3 for students or will
cost an extra dollar at the door.

Doin’s: 128th World’s Oldest Continuous
Rodeo
The 128th Annual August Doin’s Rodeo, presented by
the Payson Pro Rodeo Committee, will be held from Thursday, Aug. 16 through
Sunday, Aug. 19 at the Payson Event Center.

Days Sale
The annual Rodeo Days sale, sponsored by the
Women’s Ministries of the Payson Assembly of God will be held on Friday, Aug. 17 and Saturday, Aug. 18 from
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the sidewalk in front of Safeway on East Highway
260. Baked goods, crafts, quilts and baby
items will be for sale. All proceeds
will donate missions and charities.

The Sun Country Iris Society will hold an Iris
Rhizome sale at the Farmers Market on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 8 a.m. to noon

August Doin’s Rodeo Parade
The annual August Doin’s Rodeo Parade will march
down Payson’s historic Main Street on Saturday, Aug. 18 beginning at 9 am.
at Green Valley Park and heading eastbound to the Sawmill Theatre. Local businesses, volunteers, civic groups,
rodeo queens and clowns will bring a smile to the faces of young and old alike
as they parade down old Main. For

Sun Devils Scrimmage at Camp Tontozona
The Arizona State University Sun Devils will be
scrimmaging at Camp Tontozona on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 10 a.m. to noon. The camp is located approximately 17 miles
from the Beeline Highway on East Highway 260, then right on Camp Tontozona
Road. All Sun Devils fans are invited to
attend.
Animal
Welfare Fund: ‘Champagne in the Garden’ benefit
The “Champagne in the Garden” benefit will be held
on Saturday, Aug. 18 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Freegard Ranch
located on the south side of E. Highway 260 in Star Valley. The Animal Welfare Fund is a non-profit
organization that provides shelter to animals in need after disasters and aims
to eliminate animal cruelty. Join us for
great food, drinks, champagne and lots of fun and laughter and to buy sale
items in the gazebo. Tickets are $25 per

at the MissFitz’s 260 Café located at 803 E. Highway 260; or at the Animal

Benefit Supper to Benefit Others
The Ponderosa Chapter No. 64 Order of the Eastern
Star will hold a benefit supper, “Help Us Help Others,” on Saturday, Aug. 18
from 5 to 7 p.m. at 200 E. Rancho Road.
Supper includes twice-baked spaghetti, garlic bread, tossed salad and
dessert. Donation requested. All proceeds to help members of the Order of
the Eastern Star support college scholarships and other Masonic charities.

Alzheimer’s Association Caregivers Conference
The Alzheimer’s Association will hold a conference
for caregivers on Friday, Aug. 24 from 1 to 4:30 p.m. at the Payson
Senior Center, 514 W. Main Street. Guest
speakers will discuss dementia, memory loss, communication, financial and legal
planning and challenging behaviors.
Prior registration is required.
There is no charge. Deadline to

Watch cowboys and cowgirls compete at the Payson
Event Center for the finals at the Indian National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas,

Black Forest Society to play at Mountain High Coffee Works
The Black Forest Society will play at Mountain High
Coffee Works, 612 N. Beeline Highway, on Friday, Aug. 31 at 6 p.m. Take a journey through the deep woods with
acoustic guitarist William Schwab and multi-instrumentalist Dave Rentz .
Eclectic songwriting and improvisation highlight the goal to bring you
someplace different--a place where wild things lurk in the dark corners of the
