ADOT Update

Sunday, Feb. 27, 10 a.m. - Northbound I 17 re-opens

Northbound Interstate 17 between SR 179 (Sedona turnoff) and Flagstaff has re-opened. Motorists are advised to use caution.

I-40 remains closed to through traffic in both directions between the US 93 exit just outside of Kingman (milepost 93) and Winslow (milepost 255). Crews are making significant progress and will re-open the roadway as soon as possible.

SR 89A remains closed in both directions between Pumphouse Wash (milepost 386) and Forest Highlands (milepost 397) due to snow and icy road conditions. Crews are working on clearing the road and will re-open it as soon as possible.

US 180 remains closed in both directions outside of Flagstaff between Kendrick Park and Cedar Ranch Road (milepost 236-250). Crews are working to clear the road and will re-open it as soon as possible.

Tire chains or four-wheel drive are recommended on SR 260 east and west of Payson and on US 60 between Globe and Show Low dure to snowpacked and icy conditions in some areas. Snow and ice removal as well as other cleanup efforts will continue throughout the day.
