Police arrest Payson couple, Star Valley resident on drug charges

Domestic disturbance results in drug charges for Payson couple


Payson Police responded to a report of a disturbance at 1103 W. Crestview Drive shortly after midnight  Sunday, March 6 and, after an investigation, called out the Special Enforcement Unit to assist in the arrest of William Rinehart, 29, and Lauriena Neal-Rinehart, 29.

According to police, detectives found drugs and drug paraphenalia within the home. Rinehart and Neal-Rinehart were arrested for Use of Dangerous Drugs (methamphetamine), Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphenalia and booked into the Gila County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing as detectives are following up on information obtained from the scene as well as from the evidence gathered.

Star Valley search warrant leads to arrest

Payson Police officers with the Special Enforcement Unit and the Gila County Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant Tuesday, March 8 at 7:15 p.m. at 190 Cornerstone Way (Space 14) in Star Valley.

Following a search of the residence, officers arrested Brent Gerberich, 24,  on charges of Possession of Dangerous Drugs, Possession of Drug Paraphenalia and Aggravated DUI.
Gerberich was booked into the Gila County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing as detectives are following up on information and evidence obtained from the scene.
