Arizona Search & Rescue Conference being held in Heber April 15-17
Flagstaff, AZ –
Coconino County Sheriff Bill Pribil is pleased to join Governor Brewer in gratefully acknowledging all of the dedication, commitment and hard work by volunteers and coordinators of Search and Rescue Units throughout Arizona . In the proclamation the Governor states that Search and Rescue is a mandated function to County Sheriff ’s in Arizona . To fulfill this duty Arizona Sheriff’s rely on dedicated Search and Rescue Volunteers and Search and Rescue Coordinators. Governor Brewer said, “Search and Rescue is a noble endeavor of community service to the State of Arizona which involves dedication compassion and personal sacrifice.”
The Arizona Search and Rescue Conference where personnel meet to train and prepare to respond to fulfill the Search and Rescue motto, “So That Others May Live” is being held in Heber April 15-17, 2011. Governor Brewer has proclaimed April 16, 2011 as *Search and Rescue Day* in honor of the Search and Rescue personnel in the State of Arizona.
