Crews battle wildfire 35 miles south of Show Low

State Route 73 closed due to wildfire

 

The Arizona Department of Transportation has closed State Route 73 just north of Whiteriver. The highway was closed Friday afternoon as crews battled a wildfire. The highway reopened last night but is closed again as efforts continue to contain the fire.

 

Whiteriver is located approximately 35 miles south of Show Low.
