Resources being released Monday evening
According to the latest information from the U.S. Forest Service, Tonto National Forest, the Picket fire is "pretty much contained" but the actual percentage of containment was not available at 7 p.m. with the lastest update. Resources are being released Monday evening and the final update will be sent out between 8 a.m. and noon Tuesday, May 10.
The acreage involved in the blaze is estimated to be around 1,300 acres.
