Tempe woman arrested on charges of sexual misconduct with a juvenile drug court client

Payson Police arrest drug court counselor on charges of sexual misconduct with a minor

On Thursday, May 26, the Payson Police Department Criminal Investigations Unit arrested Erin McNeilly, 25, of Tempe, Arizona on charges of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor.
McNeilly, a drug court counselor, is alleged to have had a sexual relationship with a juvenile drug court client in Payson. The sexual relationship is alleged to have occurred over a one month period of time while McNeilly was employed by Tatum & Associates in Peoria, Arizona. The company is contracted by Gila County and several other counties in Arizona offering drug counseling.
The Payson Police Department encourages any concerned parent, in Gila County, whose child may have had inappropriate conduct with McNeilly to contact Detective Mike Varga at (928) 474-5242 ext. 271.

Parents in other counties who have concerns are asked to contact their local probation offices or police agencies.
