Woman hospitalized after being beaten with brass knuckles in alleged illegal drug fight

Four adults, two juveniles face numerous charges in alleged illegal drug fight

On Monday, May 30, at  8:18 p.m. Payson Police officers were summoned to a fight call at the Giant Gas Station on Hwy 260.

The investigation, conducted by Detective Mike McAnerny, revealed that several people were involved in the fight and one of the subjects, an adult female, was beaten with a set of brass knuckles and taken to a local hospital with head injuries.

It appeared that illegal drugs were involved with this incident. The investigation resulted in the arrest of the following subjects:

Tiffany Villanueva, 31, Payson, charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Dangerous Drug.

Ashley Arellano, 20, Payson, charged with Aggravated DUI and Use of a Dangerous Drug.

Jay Landry, 29, Payson, charged with Assault.

Kendal Smith, 18, Payson, charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Tampering with Evidence and False Information to Law Enforcement.

Male Juvenile, 17, Payson, charged with Minor consumption of alcohol

Male Juvenile, 14, Payson, charged with False Information to Law Enforcement.
