The next Citizens Awareness Committee Meeting will be held Thursday, Feb.10 at 2 p.m. in the Meeting Room of the Payson Public Library. The guest speaker will be Gila Community College Board Member Tom Loeffler speaking on the topic, "Where do we stand now for GCC independence?"
The public is welcome to come and hear the latest on this continuing topic affecting the Payson community.
The CAC meeting comes on the heels of a Senate Education Committee hearing on the Gila Community College Independence Bill, SB1213 scheduled to be held Monday, Feb. 7.
