Expect more delays on US 60 for expanded bridge work near Gold Canyon
Intermittent lane closures for eastbound and westbound traffic on US 60 will take place Monday through Friday as part of the bridge work in progress east of Peralta Road (milepost 206). In the past two weeks, a 24-hour lane closure has been in effect as crews have been working on resurfacing the bridge decks. In addition, crews will now begin work on the approaches to the bridges, which will require additional lane restrictions until the end of the month.
Lane restrictions for US 60 in the Gold Canyon area are as follows:
Right and left lanes on eastbound and westbound US 60 will be closing intermittently from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday between mileposts 208 and 211 until the end of July.
The segment of eastbound US 60 between mileposts 205 and 207 will be continue to be reduced to one lane 24-hours per day through the end of July. The lane closure will remain in place after work hours and during weekends.
