Free Family Fun Day Kickoff at Green Valley Park
The Town of Payson and the Payson Police Department, together with Target and the
National Association of Town Watch, are gearing up for another National Night Out.
On July 30th there will be a FREE Family Fun Day Kickoff Event at Green Valley
Park from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with games and prizes for children and loads of
fun! There will also be live entertainment.

Let’s Give Crime and Drugs a GOING AWAY PARTY!
National Night Out is fast approaching. The family fun day is scheduled for this Saturday, July 30, from to at Green Valley Park . All the activities are free and include live music, inflatable games, prizes and special events.
Don’t forget America ’s Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 2nd. Hold a National Night Out block party in your neighborhood. If you would like to host a block party call or stop by the police department at 303 N. Beeline Highway . Register your block party and receive a packet of information on how to hold the party that includes simple and inexpensive tips on how to make it successful. It is your opportunity to help Payson unite against crime.
National Night Out Celebration for Coconino County Rural Neighborhoods
Tuesday, August 2nd from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Summit Fire Station #33
Flagstaff , AZ – Coconino County Sheriff, Bill Pribil, Coconino, County Supervisor Liz Archuleta, Supervisor Mandy Metzger and the Summit Fire District cordially invite Coconino County residents to a National Night Out Celebration on Tuesday, August 2nd from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Summit Fire Station #33 located at 6050 Firehouse Lane , off of North Highway 89.
District Two Supervisor Liz Archuleta and District Four Supervisor Mandy Metzger will provide ice cream and Sheriff Pribil will provide hot dogs.
The Timberline/Fernwood, Doney Park and Alpine Ranchos neighborhood watch groups have rescheduled their monthly meetings allowing all of their participants the opportunity to take part in this celebration. Informational booths regarding Neighborhood Watch Programs, Community Emergency Response Teams, Emergency Preparedness, Crime Prevention and other related topics will be available.
National Night Out encourages citizens to get involved with their neighbors and police to help spot crime and enhance neighborhood quality of life; its motto is, "Give neighborhood crime and drugs a going-away party”. National Night Out is an annual nation-wide event designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit and law enforcement-community partnerships.
