Cenpatico Awards $8,500 to Two Payson Area Organizations
Money will be used for a literacy program and food bank
Tempe, Ariz. – Cenpatico of Arizona will award $5,000 to the Rim County Literacy Program for an adult literacy program. It will be used for basic education, GED prep and English language instruction. In addition, Cenpatico will give $3,500 to the Community Presbyterian Church in Payson for its food bank and a commercial refrigerator.
These are two of the Community Reinvestment Awards being given by Cenpatico throughout its Arizona service areas.
“At Cenpatico, we are dedicated to being a partner with our local communities and are always looking for opportunities to give back,” said Terry Stevens, Chief Executive Officer of Cenpatico of Arizona. “Our Community Reinvestment Awards are just one way we are improving lives in the communities we serve.”
As part of its new contracts with the Arizona Department of Health Services, Cenpatico committed to giving back a percentage of its after-tax profits for community reinvestment. Earlier this year, Cenpatico sought proposals from community organizations to fund worthwhile projects.
