Post depicts two young children bound with duct tape, one hung upside down
On Wednesday, Dec. 28, a child abuse report was made to the AZ Child Abuse Hotline. This report indicated that pictures had been posted to a Facebook page depicting two young children, ages two and 10 months. The children had been bound with duct tape around their wrists and ankles. Their mouths were also taped closed with duct tape. One of the children was hung upside down on an exercise apparatus.
This information was then forwarded to the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to the home located in the Kaibab Estates area, north of Williams. Two adult suspects, Frankie and Kayla Almuina, have been arrested and charged with two counts of child abuse each. Child Abuse is a Class 2 Felony in Arizona . The children are in the custody of family members. The investigation is ongoing.
