Tip a Cop to raise funds for Special Olympics

Coconino County Sheriff's deputies will partner with Flagstaff P.D. at "Tip a Cop" at Taverna Greek Grill in Flagstaff - proceeds benefit Northern Arizona Law Enforcement Special Olympics.

Flagstaff, AZ – Coconino County Sheriff’s Deputies and other staff will partner with personnel of the Flagstaff Police Department to raise funds for the Northern Arizona Law Enforcement Special Olympics. The event will be held on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 4:30 pm to 9 pm in the Taverna Greek Grill located at 420 S. Woodlands Village Blvd. in Flagstaff.


So come in and be served by your local deputies and police officers. All of the proceeds earned through the Tip-A-Cop tips will go directly to Special Olympics Arizona.
In addition the Taverna Greek Grill has generously offered to donate 15% of all sales during the entire day to Special Olympics Arizona.
 

Special Olympics of Arizona provides year-round sports training and competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for individuals with intellectual disabilities and cause-related disabilities providing them continuing opportunities to develop physical fitness, to demonstrate courage, experience joy and to share their gifts, skills and friendships with their families, other Special Olympic Athletes and the community. Special Olympics Arizona serves more than 9,100 athletes.
