Coconino County Sheriff's Office seeks information on murder of James Willard Clayton


On Oct. 2, 2011, Coconino County Sheriff's Office deputies responded to Camp 16 on the Boquillas Ranch north of Seligman after 56-year-old James Willard Clayton was found dead in his residence. It was later determined that Clayton had been shot once in the chest on or about Sept. 30. The CCSO is seeking information related to the murder of Clayton and encourages the public to contact Silent Witness at 1-800-932-3232 with information. A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and/or prosecution of the suspect in this case.
