Missing/Endangered Person - Kimberly B. Lindsey

Last seen getting into a maroon sedan,  missing woman left sister's recreational vehicle and personal belongings at trailhead off Hwy. 89

Flagstaff , AZ – The Coconino County Sheriff’s Office is seeking assistance from the community in locating and contacting Kimberly B. Lindsey, 53, who was last seen Sunday,  Feb. 5 at about 3:30 pm just north of Flagstaff in the area of the Sandy Seep Trailhead off Highway 89.  According to a witness who was in the area of mile post 427 on Highway 89 near the Summit, Lindsey got into a maroon compact sedan that was last seen headed northbound on Hwy. 89.  The witness told deputies that it did not appear that the missing woman was physically forced into the vehicle.

Two days later, on Tuesday, Feb. 7, deputies responded to a report of an abandoned recreational vehicle at the Sandy Seep Trailhead. Deputies looked inside the vehicle and discovered that Lindsey had left the vehicle that is registered in her sister’s name unlocked with her personal items inside, including her wallet, credit cards, medication, and cell phone.  She also left the keys in the ignition of the unlocked vehicle.  Investigators believe that if  Lindsey intended to leave the area for an extended period of time it was not consistent with leaving all of her personal items and ignition keys inside the vehicle.

Lindsey is described as a 53-year-old white female,  5’ 1” in height, weighing about 140 pounds, with blonde long straight hair and green eyes.  She was last seen wearing dark colored pants and a black long sleeve sweater.

Anyone with information regarding the location of Kimberly B. Lindsey or the circumstances surrounding her departure from the vehicle is urged to call the CCSO at (928) 774-4523
