Suddenlink launches 50-meg internet service in Payson

Upgrade is part of ongoing investment program

PAYSON, Ariz. (May 14, 2012) – Suddenlink today announced it has begun offering its new High Speed Internet MAX 50.0 service in Payson, featuring a download speed of up to 50 Megabits per second (Mbps), the fastest residential service in the area.
MAX 50.0 is enabled by Suddenlink’s deployment of industry leading technology called DOCSIS 3.0.  Suddenlink believes it is the only Internet service provider using this technology in the local service area.
Earlier, the company introduced an up to 20 Mbps service and increased the speeds of its other Internet services. The company will continue to offer its full range of Internet speed choices to meet customers’ specific needs in Payson.
The introduction of MAX 50.0 service is the latest part of a larger program that calls for more than $10 million of capital investments in Arizona.  Along with faster Internet speeds, that program also has delivered more HD channels, an all-digital TV lineup, Video on Demand (VOD) service, and TV Caller ID.
More information about local Suddenlink services is available in one of several ways: by visiting the company’s website (suddenlink.com) and entering an address and zip code; by visiting the company’s local office at 252 Highway 260; or calling toll-free 800-896--5701.
