PAYSON, AZ - 9/29/11 - Insights with Terry Bradshaw takes viewers across the country exploring some of America's "Hidden Gems."  Insights is part of the popular Discover America Series and will be aired on the Travel Channel, Ion Broadcast Network, CNN and Fox Network.

The 5 minute segment will be shown in 15 of the top US markets.  This equates to 100 minutes of total air time.  Parks, Recreation and Tourism Director Cameron Davis said, "we have a lot of great things that are starting to come together for our community and being approached by an organization like this is a huge step in the right direction in propelling the economic vitality of the region."

The film crew will be here in Payson filming on October 4, 2011.  We would like to invite the public to come and join in by being an "extra."  This is your chance to be on major network television.  We are looking for the following extra's:

    1.    *8:00 - 10:00 AM - We will be filming the Green Valley Park and Main St. areas.  Please grab your boat, fishing poll, football, walking shoes, and come down to the park and join in.  We would like to showcase the park with a lot of people using the facilities.  We will also be going up and down shooting areas of Main St.  Please come and take a stroll or visit the shops.
    2.    *11:00 AM - we will be shooting the Swiss Village area and would like to see people milling around.
    3.    *1:30 - 2:30 PM join us at Rumsey Park - we need trail hikers, mountain bikers and people using the ball fields.
Come on Payson, let's show the country how proud you are of your Town!
