From Fran Yates, an idea for gift giving for the holiday:
Just a thought……..
As we get closer to Christmas and you still need to find that perfect gift for people on your list……please remember the RCLP International Cookbook.  I have given it as a gift to several people and they have really enjoyed it.  Sometimes it is difficult to find something under $20.00…..think of us.

International Cookbook “International Recipes from RCLP – The Language of Great Food”.
The cookbook is dedicated to the diversity of Rim Country and features recipes from around the world.
Members of the community, contributed favorite family recipes.
There is information on each of the world regions and their common spices.
One volunteer, who chooses to remain anonymous, described the cookbook….” Wow!  The cookbook is wonderful!  Congratulations and cheers for all your hard work. It's attractive, well-organized and beautifully laid out----plus interesting and easy-to-read.   And I love the quotes! I'm not a cook-book person or even a recipe follower, but this book is really special.  I may even use it. Great job!!”

Copies of the Cookbook may be purchased at RCLP offices – 1001 S. Beeline Highway, Suite F, behind the Knotty Pine Café.  Cost of each is $16.00.  For more information call RCLP at 928-468-7257 or me, Fran, at 472-7359.  We’ll make sure you get one.

Best wishes to everyone for a wonderful holiday with family and friends.

We still have 18 families that need help for Christmas in our Payson schools. The Optimist club has been receiving donations of new clothes and toys for the Christmas boxes which we plan on putting together next week. But we need cash donations so that we can purchase the articles and sizes of clothing still needed to be able to complete the boxes and cover as many of these 18 families as possible for Christmas. Please contact Joan Young at (928) 472-2264, Allic Bales at (928) 595-1284 or Blanche Oakland at (928) 978-1479 for more information.
