PURSUANT TO A.R.S. 38-431.02, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO THE MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION AND TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC THAT A QUORUM OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION WILL ATTEND THE Staff and Community Forum for Finalists for Superintendent of Payson Schools on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. in the Payson Unified School District Board Room located at 902 W. Main Street, Payson, AZ.

Notice of Governing Board Meeting

Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.01, notice is hereby given to members of the Payson Unified School District #10 Governing Board and to the general public that the Payson Unified School District #10 Governing Board will hold the Special Board meeting, open to the public, on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at 8:00 A.M. in the District Office Board Room, 902 W. Main Street, Payson, AZ.

The Governing Board reserves the right to move into executive session for legal advice with its attorneys for any item listed on the agenda, in person or by telephone, pursuant to A.R.S. §15-843 and 38-431.03(A)(3).

Members of the Governing Board will attend either in person or by telephone conference call.

A COPY OF THE AGENDA FOR THE MEETING WILL BE AVAILABLE DURING OFFICE HOURS AT THE DISTRICT OFFICE, 902 W. MAIN STREET, PAYSON, ARIZONA.

II.      EXECUTIVE SESSION pursuant to ARS §15-843 and 38-431.03.  (Read Prior to Executive Session)   All persons present are hereby reminded that it is unlawful to disclose or otherwise divulge to any person who is not now present, other than a current member of the Board, anything that has transpired or has been discussed during this executive session.  To do so is a violation of A.R.S. §38-431.03. unless pursuant to a specific statutory exception.

A.  Interview Candidates and Discussion of Such Candidates, Pursuant to A.R.S. §38-431.03(A)(1)

Please note that the executive session is expected to last until late afternoon, after which the board will hold a public session to discuss the next steps in the selection process . The selection of the candidate for PUSD Supervisor is not expected to be decided until Tuesday, April 3.
