Summary:
The Bartlett Fire is burning 6 miles
northeast of Bartlett Lake in remote, inaccessible terrain. Yesterday
afternoon a heavy helitanker was used to keep the fire’s spread in
check. Extremely
rough terrain is preventing helicopter landings of crews near the
fire. Type 1 helicopter and engine crew were dedicated resources today.
