Free Family Fun Day Kickoff Saturday, Aug. 4 at Green Valley Park
The Payson Police Department, together with Target, the National Association of Town Watch, the Gila County Attorney's Office and the Bureau of Justice Assistance, is gearing up for another National Night Out. The Payson Police Department received funding this year for National Night Out from the Department of Justice via an Edward J. Byrne Grant.
On August 4th the Payson Police Department will be hosting a FREE Family Fun Day Kickoff Event at Green Valley Park from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with games and prizes for children and adults, such as the climbing wall, obstacle course, toy walk, bounce houses and lots more. There will also be live entertainment, such as Junction 87, the Hot Cappuccinos, Team Exyo and much more. Food vendors will be there selling lots of great food! And of course there will be the famous Police vs. Fire race, this year on a raft!
Also there will be AZ Department of Public Safety, the Gila County Sheriff’s Office, Globe Fire Department, Gila County Attorney’s Office, Payson Fire Department, and many more
community service agencies.
Don't forget, this is just the kickoff event, as National Night Out is Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., the night you go outside and meet your neighbors!
