Payson accepts Arizona Solar Challenge

Town encourages residents to install solar systems
By Andy Jacobs
This year, the Town of Payson accepted the Arizona Solar Challenge, a program started by Arizona SmartPower that encourages residents to install solar systems at their residences.
The first event to get residents involved in the challenge is the Payson Solar Ambassador meeting for Thursday December 1, 2011 at the Payson Public Library from 6pm to 7:30pm. Solar Ambassadors are residents who are interested in or have already installed solar on their homes and want to encourage their friends, family and neighbors to go solar! Mayor Kenny Evans will be on hand to kick off the Payson Solar Challenge.
